Jackson Hole , WY; Grand Tetons National Park; Yellowstone National Park; Bozeman, MT

Prepare yourself to come back from this trip feeling like a true nature lover, beer connoisseur, and ready to plan your next mountain adventure. This itinerary is packed with many trails to hike and a lot of places to taste the local brews. Whether you decide to spend your time in one spot or travel across state lines and to both national parks, we promise this trip will leave many lasting memories and hopefully only a few blisters (just make sure to break in your hiking boots beforehand). We first began the trip by flying into Salt Lake City, Utah (unfortunately didn’t get a chance to explore the city) and drove the scenic 5 hours to Jackson Hole, WY for 2 days. Then we hiked in the Grand Tetons national park, spent 3 days driving all around Yellowstone, and ended with flying out of Bozeman, MT. To say it was a perfect Fourth of July holiday is an understatement. Check out all of our must-do’s amongst these beautiful mountains and valleys of the west.

WHAT TO DO

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK - A literal five miles from the town, check out the breathtaking famous mountains and hike around Jenny Lake. Might be a good idea to bring snacks but beware of the bears on the trail!

HIKE TO PISTE MOUNTAIN BISTRO Hike (or take the gondola) - It was my goal to hike up the mountain to enjoy not only the views at the top but a cocktail as well. Unfortunately, on the last leg of the hike, the trail was closed, so yes we hiked all the way back down and took the gondola up. We will be returning to finish the full hike someday soon.

MOUNTAIN BIKE OR ROAD BIKE - For those who want a little more adventure in life.

MADE AND MOUNTAIN DANDY SHOPS - For those looking to find some local goods and apparel on their travels.

ELK HORNS IN TOWN SQUARE - The most basic tourist photo, but a must.
